packard convertible

... another attempt at playing with digital painting techniques (just so you know, this is not a photo manip); this time I wanted to take on an illustration of an antique car, so...

... I don't think Packard ever actually made a candyapple-red convertible back then, but it's always been a dream car of mine... the lines of those early '40s cars were so sleek and seductive, so very different compared to the bulky pointy-headed shoeboxes we drive on these days...
